Casino revenues


Atlantic City casinos saw a 22.5% jump in gross operating profits and a 5% increase in revenue last year!  (According to the New Jersey Attorney Gerneral)













Sports betting in New Jersey


Last month the US Supreme Court ruled in New Jersey's favor legalizing sports betting nationwide giving AC the green light to open sports betting here for the first time!  Sports betting will generate more than $173 million in additional tax revenue and see the creation of more than 3600 jobs (according to a study from Oxford Economics).  This is HUGE for Atlantic City.  










The Hard Rock


The Hard Rock is scheduled to open it's casino hotel on June 28th.  The company is spending $500 million on renovations to the former Taj Mahal Casino.  The project generated more than 1000 construction jobs and over 3000 permanent jobs!  Check out their awesome entertainment line up for this summer here ....














Beach at South Inlet


This $81 million residential complex will feature 250 apartments and help rejuvenate the city's aging housing stock.  Currently under construction and due to be complete this summer!













Stockton University


Stockton has a $220 million 675,000 square foot building currently under construction at the south end of the city that is due to be completed this coming fall.  The property will be the new headquarters for South Jersey Gas and a campus for the university that includes an academic building, housing for more than 500 students and a parking garage.
















The Revel was sold to Denver based holdings company, Intergrated Properties for $200 million.  The new name of the property is "Ocean Resort Casino" and is scheduled to open the same day at the Hard Rock (June 28, 2018). The Ocean Resort Casino will offer FREE parking all summer in 2018!  View their web site here ... 
















The Mega Ferris Wheel


The Steel Pier recently finished construction and opened the $14 million observation wheel.  This awesome attraction stands 227 feet tall and has 40 temperature controlled gondoals that comfortably hold 6 passengers each!  The wheel is a beautiful addition to the Atlantic City skyline. 












The Atlantic City Boardwalk Expansion


The longest boardwalk in the world is getting longer!  The Atlantic City boardwalk expansion project is underway and due for completion this spring!  When completed the boardwalk will extend into the Gardner's Basin section of the city!












Besides these large scale projects, smaller project like the ongoing Tennessee Avenue Transformation project and a beer garden on the Boardwalk between South California and South Belmont avenues are set to open this summer!
